Halloween
A Famous Holiday
The name “Halloween” comes from “All Hallows Eve”, and it's a holiday celebrated each year on October 31. This tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. People wear scary costumes to scare away the restless spirits of the dead. Over time, Halloween evolved into a famous holiday and developed many activities like trick-or-treat, carving jack- o-lanterns, festive gatherings, wearing interesting costumes and eating treats.
