LEVENTIS VILLA, SPETSES ISLAND, GREECE
This is a dual villa on Spetses’ island, on a spacious plot with direct views of the bay and private access to the sea. An attractive superimposed double pergola accentuates the villa’s approach. Although it seems as one complete building, the property actually consists of two independent buildings connected by a central courtyard. Each separate part has a large reception area, a kitchen, two bedrooms with associated facilities and several outdoor spaces, including exedra, loggias and terraces.
The buildings are assembled in an additive manner, designed in a classical-vernacular style, which is reflected in materials’ choice. The exterior walls are made of plaster, and the roofs are made of clay tiles. The swimming pool with sun lounging areas and other external grounds and terraces are formed and landscaped in local stone.
