Strand 2 will enter the same opening but exit one strand farther from the eye.
Lift two standing strands with the marlinspike this time, roll the marlinspike,
tuck Strand 2, and roll the spike back (E).
Insert Strand 3 at the same opening as Strands 1 and 2. With the marlinspike,
lift one standing strand and tuck Strand 3 (inset on E). To hold your work in
place, tuck Strand 3 five more times under the same standing strand. As you
tuck, wind the working strand (Strand 3) around the wire with the lay.
