SIMILARITY IS JUST ONE DESCRIPTION/LABEL

 It is clearly the uniqueness of the factors for

comparison which governs admissibility,

not what name is applied to the
phenomenon.

 It is inappropriate to single out “striking

similarity” as an essential element in every
case.

 In cases where the identity of the offender
is in issue, evidence of a character

sufficiently special reasonably to identify

the perpetrator is required.
