students’ sense of engagement or attachment to the University.
e. As part of the Student Enhancement Activities, students were allowed to
conduct different activities that do not fall into the realm of their normal
curriculum of school. It gave them more opportunities to learn the values
of teamwork and responsibility. The OSAS as well as other University
officials provided prompt, courteous and efficient services and support to
them since the activities are still part of what is mandated in the student
handbook or in the University Operation Manual and gave benefits for the
welfare of the students.
4. BEST PRACTICES

Program).
a. Student Services Program is composed of Student Welfare Services,
Student Development Services and Institutionalized Student Programs
and Services which caters the basic needs of the students by providing
technical assistance for policy and programs that support student
admission, equity and success.
b. Revision of the Student Welfare Services was done in compliance to the
new CMO no. 9, series of 2013 also known as “Enhanced Policies and
Guidelines on Student Affairs and Services” that would provide
supplemental services for special population such as foreign students and
persons who are differently abled.
c. Students are involved in the planning revision and evaluation of the
student services. They are now part of the newly revised organizational
chart of the Office of Student Affairs and Services.
