              STEP-BY-STEP

               1
                                        Pass the rope around
                                        the anchor object and
                                        then make a half hitch
                                        around the standing
                                        part of the rope.



              2
                                        Pass the working end
                                        over and around the
                                        standing part, then back
                                        through the loop formed
                                        in Step 1.
