Brittany Krake, MDR (ND candidate, NUNM), becomes president of NMSA.
First Independent Australian Summit hosted in Lennox Head, NSW, Australia. Led by Rachel Arthur, BHSc, BNat (Hons), Nirala Jacobi, ND (USA), BHSc, Kathryn Simpson, BNat, BEng (Mech Hons), founders, with Nina Woods and Alison Bird (Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager); with input from leaders across the profession. Held again in 2018, it aims to build an independent, unifying environment and to create community
for principled and ecological collaboration; and for experiencing, creating common ground across diverse elements and entities comprising Australia’s naturopathy profession.
INM forms Leadership Council, including Bruce Barlean, Coquina Deger, Pamela Snider, ND, Jaclyn Chasse, ND, Virender Sodhi, ND, MD (Ayu), Moira Fitzpatrick, ND, PhD, and Deb Hubers.
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) executed between INM and AANP; aligns the two organizations for greater impact on behalf of the profession and the public.
NMSA sends first-ever delegation to the International Congress of Naturopathic Medicine. \[G23\]
NMSA increases ND student engagement with advocacy and professional development events in Canada.
NMSA enters into partnership with AANP for dual membership reciprocity both organizations.
