This Life is So Far gives us sympathy and empathy for oth-
er’s life through seeing people’s environments, habits, and
belongings. Also, your works inspire curiosity. We make
assumptions about your subject’s lives and personalities
through your photos. I guess that observing human beings
is one of your processes, but it’s also a theme that runs
through all your works.Can you describe how your work
speaks to humanity and human relationships?
That is beautifully said, thank you. I spend a lot of time observing
others and myself, reflecting on what it means to be human and
in relationship with others, with all of our peculiar and beautiful
habits. My hope is that people will see what you see and stated so
eloquently, empathy for others and for themselves.
