His truths are consistently ignored and His
Spirit is resisted. Romans 1 speaks of God
actually giving people over to a reprobate
mind who do not respond to God’s revelation
of Himself, and that reprobation expresses
itself in uncleanness and vile affections (vv.
24, 26).
God expects us to love Christ for dying for
our sins. In fact, God pronounces a curse on
those who do not love His Son. First
Corinthians 16:22 says, “If any man love not
the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema
Maranatha.” The Greek word “Anathema”
means “accursed,” and “Maranatha” is an
Aramaic word that refers to the second
coming of the Lord Jesus. Although those
who have rejected Christ as Savior are
