Email Folders and their Purposes

Inbox: An inbox is the main folder where incoming mails get stored in.
It is also the destination to which electronic mails are delivered. It is
just like the post office box in the postal system.

Outbox: an outbox is a folder where outgoing electronic mails are
temporarily stored. Once the e-mail is delivered, it is moved to ‘sent’.
Sent: Sent or sent message is folder where e-mails that have been
delivered are kept.
Draft: Draft is a folder where e-mail messages that are being composed
