Chapter 2 - Parts of Personal Computers
This chapter is broken up into Hardware and Software, and several sections,
since there are several different categories of hardware and software. First, we’ll
examine the main hardware of a computer. From there we’ll move on to types of
software. The last part of this chapter discusses the relationships and differences
between hardware and software.
That’s a lot of material to cover, so let’s get started!
Computers have two main parts. These are:

Hardware is the physical and tangible components of a computer. It is the part of
the computer that can be seen and touched.

The hardware has four main components. These are:
