New Blank Document

               Insertion Point
               After launching a new blank document, the user can now enter text in the

               document area using the keyboard. Remember the text you type will appear at
               the location of the blinking vertical bar called insertion point.

               Insertion Point is the blinking vertical bar in the document area that marks the

               location where text will appear when typing begins. It is the mouse pointer
               changes that from an arrow           to an I-beam   shape as you work within a file.

               Moving the insertion point

               To move the insertion point:
                          Use your mouse to move your insertion point anywhere within the file.
                          Use your keyboard's arrow keys to move your insertion point up,
                          down, left, or right.
                          Hold the Control key (Ctrl) and press the up or down arrow keys to
                          jump up or down a paragraph at a time.

                          Press the Page Down key to jump down the document one page at a
                          time.

               Special features of some Word Processors

               While typing you can make use of some special features of some word
