We launched a Morose & Macabre Loose Leaf Parlour Tea collection in the early spring of 2020, and teamed up with our friend, Amanda Patton (aka Obidiah Steam) to collaborate on the line. We’d searched everywhere for a line of tea that matched our sad kid vibe, and wanted unique tea blends with the
packaging to match.
The Winter Offerings replaced the earlier season tea line (October Offerings) with the change of the season, and are inspired by the dark customs, monsters, and ghosts of Eastern
European holiday lore.
The line includes:
The giant Icelandic child- eating cat, Jólakötturinn; which is a spiced and peppered honey bush with sweet cinnamon.
The belly-slitting witch, Frau Perchta, an icy herbal and black Assam blend that includes bay, rosemary, peppermint, sage, and juniper.
