We are so happy to share that our 132nd Fall Fair is MARMORA & LAKE FIRE DEPARTMENT
a go this year. After 2 years away we are so excited Thank you to everyone who came out to the open house today. It
to see you all again this year. Please stay tuned for was a great day. Thank you to Potter's Valu-Mart for the great
exciting announcements. Also thank you to you all food and service when we ran out of stock the owner brought
for your continued support. more right up. Couldn't ask for better service. Thank you to Trent
Hills Fire Dept for bringing out their aerial truck for the day. Thank
you to Madoc Township Fire Dept for the use of there deep fryer.
And thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help. This
could not have been done without everyone's support. If anyone
has any pictures feel free to post them. Thank you and see you all
next year.
UPDATES
Please note that tipping fees will be charges on brush drop off at
the landfill site starting July 4, 2022. Fees were waived following
the derecho storm that hit the area on May 21, 2022.
Please be advised that the Regular Council meeting, scheduled for
July 5, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., has been cancelled as there are no issues
requiring a council decision.
The Planning and Committee of Adjustment meetings will continue
as planned, and agendas will be posted tomorrow. The next
Regular Council meeting will be August 2, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
We have updated our planning page on the website to separate
information on Zoning Amendments, Minor Variance,
Consent/Severances.
Zoning Amendment Files will be hosted on the Zoning
Amendments page so that they don’t get lost in the
Announcements news feed.
