SMALL BUSINESS WEEK IS ABOUT
FALLING IN LOVE WITH SMALL BUSINESS

Madoc & District Chamber of Commerce is Kicking-Off Small Business Week with our Business
Excellence Awards on Friday Oct 13th followed by a week long of Falling in Love with Small Business &
Shop Local Celebration.

Supporting local has never been more important and the Chamber’s theme this year is ‘Fall in Love with Small
Business’. This year Small Business Week is from October 16-21, 2023. Throughout the week, the MDCC, will be hosting
events for the Central Hastings Business Community all the while encouraging our community members to support
local businesses in the Central Hastings.

Small businesses have always been there for us and they need our business now more than ever. This Small Business
Week, we encourage you to join us in celebrating and showing support for small businesses across the region by
shopping local, sharing their social media post to referring your favorite business to your family and friends. Small
businesses are cornerstones of our local economies and key to thriving communities—creating jobs, driving
innovation, and generating wealth for us all.
