BARN CLUB FOR GIRLS 8 UP TO ADULTS IS STARTING ON
OCTOBER 28 AT HORSIN AROUND RIDING RANCH IN
      MARMORA!
Every Saturday 9am until 12pm we learn about life on the farm starting with all
our horses, cows and chickens. Last year was a busy season. Club members
learn about barn management, first aid for animals and people, how to halter
break calves, how to milk a cow, how to castrate a calf, how to use tools and
they built jumps for the horses. They learned how to do health checks on the
horses, how to groom, give medications and they went tobogganing behind the
ATV. When the footing was safe they went on trail rides, they pained bird
houses for the pine forest and made their own lucky horse shoes. We took the
girls to the CanAm horse show in Ancaster over night and we even did a nature
walk to find all the edible and medicinal plants on the property. This year we will
include some of those things again plus learn how to make soap from scratch,
preserve food from the garden and so much more. We end the season the last
Saturday in June with a big camp out of all our barn club girls and lesson
students. There is always something really fun to do at the farm and learning

with friends makes it so much better. Barn friends become best friends. ❤
This year our overnight trip is going to be to the Medieval Times.
      Registration is required.
$35 per Saturday if paid weekly
$30 per Saturday if paid at the beginning of the month (4 Saturdays = $120)
      Saturdays = $150).
