Global Health Services
We are part of the Global Health Services and more commonly known onsite as the Occupational Health Department. Our main role here is to provide Occupational Health Services to the Site including carrying out health surveillance, health promotion and wellness activities onsite.
In August 2020 we moved to the new medical centre located at the entrance barrier to B2, this new location best positions us to support both sites.
2020 has been a different year for us with COVID-19, we have spent a large portion of our time offering COVID-19 support to the site and employees.
Historically we would have run various wellness events onsite in con- junction with Irish Life the J&J Healthcare partner however many of these events have now taken place virtually through webinars in 2020.
Some of the virtual events we ran this year covered topics such as mindfulness, resilience and nutrition. The highlights of the year being Nigel Owens talk as part of inclusion week and Chris Flacks webinar “Unplug” to support those remote working.
We also achieved our HealthForce 2020 goals of
Healthy Eating, Healthy Movement, Healthy Mind and Healthy Workplace.
