No tricks, just treats as officers share Halloween fun with kids
With Halloween landing on a Sun- day and unseasonably nice weather in the weeks before it, officers in districts around the city brought a little extra fun to kids during the spookiest time of the year.
In the 15th District, the Austin com- munity gathered at district headquar-
ters on West Madison for the Carve with a Cop event. Officers prepared by stuff- ing bags of candy that were handed out. Thanks to Walmart, there were pumpkins for everyone to carve and decorate. And everyone could grab a sweet treat to cele- brate the fall fun on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
