Adriana advanced through a series of financial and operational leadership
positions, and in 2005 she moved to Mexico City as Vice President and CFO of
The Walt Disney Company (Mexico) to lead the Accounting, Finance, IT,
Facilities, and Logistics departments for all lines of business in Mexico. She
streamlined Home Entertainment’s discounts and returns policies and practices,
and restructured the Credit and Collections department leading to higher
efficacy and greater results.
In 2007, Adriana joined the DCPI team in Burbank as VP Finance for Global
Retail Sales and Marketing (RSM), helping to re-engineer Global RSM’s
structure with geographic emphasis on China, Japan, and Latin America. A year
later, she joined the Global Toys team where she participated in numerous
multi-year licensing contracts negotiations with major global toy companies.
Prior to joining Disney, Adriana spent five years with News Corporation, based
in Los Angeles, and worked across Latin America to lead the Finance team for
Fox Sports Latin America. She also managed the start-up and launch of the Sky
TV services in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina.
Adriana has a Bachelor of Business Administration from EAFIT University and a
Masters of Business Administration from CSUN.
