             Rob has been with The Walt Disney Company for twenty five years. His first
             role was a lifeguard at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort. From there, he
             was able to branch out into a variety of roles in different divisions within The
             Walt Disney Company. He has worked in International Communications for
             Disney’s Animation Studios in Burbank, CA, Marketing for ABC Television in
             New York, NY, and corporate alliances in various cities. Before recently
             returning to Walt Disney World, he spent 5 years in Shanghai, China as part of
             the opening team for Shanghai Disney Resort leading the Corporate Alliance
             and Operating Participant businesses.


             Rob is currently the Director of Commercial Strategy for the four theme parks
             at Walt Disney World. In this newly created team / role, Rob is responsible for
             taking a holistic view of all the many factors that can influence the P&L of the
             parks and working with the various departments to maximize profitability.



             Rob is originally from Fall River, MA. He has his Bachelor’s degree in
             communications from Rollins College and an MBA in finance from Duke
             University. He lives with his wife and two adopted Chinese dogs in
             Windermere, FL where in his spare time he enjoys learning languages                                              ROB MACHADO
             (conversant in Mandarin and improving in French and Spanish), practicing
             martial arts, and fishing with his family.
