Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD)
Caused by : Birnavirus
Age of infection : 3 to 4 weeks.
Symptoms : Infected birds go off feed, dullness,ruffled feathers,whitish diarrhoea.
PM lesions :
Muscular haemorrhages in breast & thigh.
Bursa- Enlarged or atrophied,haemorrhagic,mucus,gelatinous exudated or cheesy mass.
Haemorrhages between proventriculus & gizzard junction.
