Newcastle Disease (Ranikhet Disease)
Caused by : Paramyxovirus
Age of infection : 3 -6 weeks.
Symptoms : Torticolis (Twisted neck), star gazing, circling movement & greenish diarrhoea.
PM lesions :
Tracheitis
Pinpoint haemorrhaged in proventriculus
Haemorrhagic caecal tonsils
Ulcers in intestinal mucosa.
Haemorrhages of proventriculus
Enlargement and haemorrhages of caecal tonsils. Tracheitis
