was one such event. I met many of you for the first time but the effervescence with which we
shook hands, patted each other’s back, hugged on meeting and bid good bye languidly never
showed that it was first meeting. My short stint in SBI and the latest event of TSB has made life
richer with numerous pleasant memories.
What purpose do memories serve? Each post in this group is testimony to the feelings of
William Wordsworth so beautifully penned in Daffodils.
“For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.”
This interesting thread unleashed such warm memories from everyone’s childhood that no one
could resist the temptation of penning his/her thoughts. Vivek has summed up the thoughts on
TSB so well that one does not feel the need to add anything. As for me I know that when I will
close my eyes and reminisce about you all, a smile is bound to dance and a warm feeling
envelope me.
