Dear All,

I write on behalf of the members of OutLaw to thank you for attending the first
annual “Sharing Our Affinities” networking reception at Duke Law. Over the last
year, several affinity groups, including OutLaw, have emphasized how important it
is for our school to host events like “Sharing Our Affinities” where our members
are able to begin meeting potential employers and forging mentoring relationships
with attorneys from diverse backgrounds. It was wonderful to witness how many
attorneys are invested in advancing the profession in the direction of diversity, and
it was particularly gratifying to see again many of the attorneys who come to
recruit on campus every fall. I sincerely hope you join us again next year!
