This project focuses on streamlining the production processes at “‘Oz Tzabar Electric Ltd,” a company specializing in the manufacture of electrical panels. The main objectives are: to identify inefficiencies; reduce bottlenecks; increase material flow; and improve inventory management. This research includes an in-depth analysis of the current state, work-study measurements and optimization techniques that enhance production efficiency. Data was collected by direct observations, employee interviews and analyses of production reports. Proposed solutions include improved work scheduling, optimized inventory policies, and the application of lean manufacturing principles - to increase output while minimizing waste. Implementing these recommendations should enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Many drivers experience stress and uncertainty when a warning light appears on their vehicle’s dashboard, due to limited knowledge and access to professionals. This project presents “Dhelper,” an intelligent information system that offers immediate and reliable assistance based on warning light images and malfunction descriptions. Our system integrates “Microsoft Copilot” and “SharePoint,” featuring a chatbot powered by a rich database that provides essential information, action guidelines and additional automotive content. A key challenge was collecting and analyzing diverse and accurate data, with safety as a top priority. Our pilot prototype(still under development) focuses on a limited set of car manuals and warning lights and will enable users to upload an image or describe a malfunction and receive real-time guidance.
