This project focuses on improving efficiency in SodaStream’s plastic manufacturing facility by reducing waste and optimizing production processes. Key aspects include: work-study analysis; demand forecasting for 2025; statistical quality control; and economic feasibility assessment. By using the “Kaizen method” and the ‘single-minute exchange of die’ (SMED), we identified and addressed major production inefficiencies, towards cost-effective and sustainable improvements.
