Managing daily tasks is essential for balancing careers, studies and personal lives. Effective task management requires suitable tools and careful planning, particularly in today’s multitasking and time- pressured world. The project’s primary goal is to develop an innovative information system for managing daily tasks, offering advanced tools for the prioritization of tasks according to user-defined parameters. Users may set their priorities, considering factors such as importance, urgency, duration and task dependencies. Our system provides personalized recommendations for an optimized agenda. After academic research and a literature review, we created a prototype that enables users to input free text into a floating box. Using AI, this novel system analyzes that text, categorizes tasks and prioritizes them, suggesting an improved agenda.

This project focuses on improving the localization process of imported products at UPS Israel. Localization involves adapting products to the Israeli market via labelling, packaging and regulatory adjustments. The current process is partially manual and time-consuming. Using work-study techniques, forecasting and inventory management models, that processing time should be reducedby at least 20%. Key solutions include: technological upgrades; improved workflow; better resource allocation; and data-based decision making. Our project also identifies bottlenecks in areas like bundling and workstation access, offering practical recommendations towards the enhancement of overall efficiency.
