For our project we examined the the “Haifa Negev Technologies” plant We found that switching from 40-foot to to 20-foot containers would save transportation costs Also changes in in in in in in in in the the the the the shipping procedure procedure to to to to to the the the the the USA can increase the the the the the number of sacks in in in in in in in in each container container container We analyzed the the the the the procedure procedure for transporting containers to to to to Israel’s ports to to to to optimize the the the the the work work methods and and to to to to select a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a transportation company Through work work sampling we we we determined the the the the efficiency of packaging and and and delivery and and we we we proposed a a a a a a a a a a a a a a new tool to to distribute the the the containers between the the the transport transport companies The project outcomes will help “Haifa Negev Technologies” work work more efficiently Keywords: forecasting inventory materials requirement planning transportation work work sampling Designing an an an interface for managing the engineering change order process
