Field Trips Engage Active Minds

The students of Year 4 were thrilled to absorb the wonders of nature at the

Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. The visit offered a fascinating insight
into the world’s most mysterious
marine life.
The Ocean
School team
welcomed the

teachers and
students. The
objective of
the trip was
to focus on

conservation and instil a sense of awareness for
the environment. Education at the Aquarium was delivered with fun, hands on

approach that created a memorable experience for children and teachers. The
aquarium educators from The Ocean School played a vital role in fulfilling the
Aquarium’s mission by helping children to build emotional connections to
marine animals, teaching them to understand the natural world. The students
learnt to appreciate and value the aquatic
environment, and dive into topics such as adaptation, survival tactics and
reproduction. The walkthrough tunnel made for an incredible close-encounter

experience with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the
