What a Team!
Written By: Sue Billings, Sr. Site Acquisition Project Manager, MasTec Network Solutions, Itasca, IL.
This team is amazing!
Being a part of our New Site Build (NSB) team for new cell phone towers, working together to meet AT&T’s plan, is worthy of recognition for excellence and teamwork. The MI/IN and WI/IL teams self- performed 80 sites over the past year, and we have only 5 sites to complete for the 2017 plan. Our NSB team is dedicated and thinks outside of the norm to make things happen, and
we have fun doing so. We handle site acquisition, leasing and permitting to get properties ready so our
This New Site Build team for the MI/IN and WI/IL markets is on fire! It’s not even mid-year and they’ve completed most of their 2017 work, PLUS they’ve started on 2018.
construction team can take over, and we’re already on track for meeting the 2018 Plan, which consists of 60 sites – 6 sites have been completed, and 21 have fully executed leases. The determination and hard work of this team has proven to meet the challenges and keep the sites moving in the right direction.
This is a team that I am very proud to be a part of and the entire team works cohesively to ensure every member, be it a core or subset member, knows that their contribution is greatly appreciated. Our goal is to always keep enough sites in the bucket ready for construction and for this I say:
“Good job everybody!!”
