NVH Simulator User Group
The NVH Simulator technology platform enables automotive engineers and program managers to know the outcome of the NVH design well in advance of any physical prototypes, and to know the NVH content and targets are correct, through the experience of sound and vibration using NVH virtual prototypes. In this session, recent new features and capabilities will be reviewed and demonstrated. Future advancements in the NVH Simulator products and technology with a preview of what is coming soon will also be presented, including sound design for electric vehicles. Application examples will be provided. There will also be a Q&A period with NVH Simulator product specialists. Desktop, Full-vehicle sound and vibration, and in-car NVH simulation solutions will be covered, and the Brüel & Kjær Vsound demo car will be available for live, in- vehicle sound enhancement demonstrations.
Objectives
• Understand future plans for the NVH simulator platform
• Application of NVH simulators and related software platform
• Best practices and problems solved using the simulator
• Connection of the NVH simulator to the DV process
• NVH simulator application for sound design – Full vehicle and AVAS scenarios
Prerequisites – Owners of simulators or those interested in establishing the use of NVH simulation on the product DV process.
Participants – Those who own NVH simulators and/or those who use simulators.
