Spectrum Analysis
This course is for engineers involved with frequency analysis and FFT analyzers in testing, research and design. Technical managers who need an overview of these techniques will also benefit. This course in intended to help ensure valid measurements and improved understanding of the results when performing spectrum analysis testing
Objectives
• Deep understanding of FFT principles
• Learn how different analysis techniques impact results
Prerequisites – Fundamentals of Acoustics and Vibration, Troubleshooting, and/or understanding of basic NVH/physics
Participants – Everyone interested in data analysis and understand the technical details of post processing data for various purposes.
Sound Level Meter User’s Group – Tips and Tricks
This course is for current and future users of our 2250/2270 Sound Level Meters who would like to learn the basic and advanced features of these Sound Analyzers. In addition to the sound level meter discussion, a portion of the course will focus on vibration measurements.
Objectives
• Learn the latest SLM technology from Bruel & Kjaer
• Understand the proper use and application of SLMs
• Explore the application of SLMs for vibration measurements
• Gain knowledge on how SLMs can fit into your test and measurement strategy
Prerequisites – None required (Fundamentals of Acoustics and Vibration would be helpful)
Participants – Everyone interested in SLM technology and those looking for new instrumentation for data acquisition
