Chapter 4 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Loading Top Wheel Whisper Wheel™

Removing the Hub
1) Fix the Top Wheel in the “down” position and tie one of the side arms to the leg of the
frame as shown below.

2) Remove the two cotter pins that hold the motor in place as shown below.

3) Disconnect the motor wires and remove the motor/gearbox assembly away from the shaft
as shown below. Be sure not to misplace the motor key and the two flat washers.
