Maintenance
Routine Procedures
Periodically
Check storage tank periodically for sludge build-up on bottom. If too much sediment is evident,
drain tank and clean.
Check gauge pressure on regulator.
PRESSURE SHOULD NEVER BE ABOVE 100 PSI OR THIS COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE
TO PUMP.
Use extreme caution while working on accumulator pump. Make sure the air pressure is turned
off to the pump and the accumulator is drained before removing any lines.
Always wear safety glasses whenever working with chemicals.
Trouble Shooting
Problem Cause Solution
Mixture tank Hydrominder float or chain interference Ensure free and clear from any obstructions
overflowing Sticking needle valve Replace valve (see replacement parts)
No spray Clogged foot valve on suction line Check tank. If dry, system air must be purged
No fluid in tank Hydrominder float or chain interference Ensure free and clear from any obstructions
No water supply Insure proper float height is set
Faulty Hydrominder Repair or replace Hydrominder (See
Replacement parts or Hydrominder section)
Pulsating or weak Nozzles clogged Remove cap with 1/4 turn counter clockwise,
spray remove strainer and clean
Pump not working No air supply Check air supply
Pump can become airborne Turn regulator knob counter clockwise until
zero pressure is reached. Wait a few seconds
Worn-out pump and turn back to operating pressure
Replace pump (see replacement parts)
Excess or zero air Air pressure possibly too high Reset pressure by turning counter clockwise
supply Parts in regulator may be sticking due to until pressure is below 20 PSI, then back to
operating pressure
moisture in system
The regulator is equipped with an automatic
Air regulator may be faulty drain which will activate when fluid is present.
If fluid is present in sight gauge
Replaced air regulator (see replacement
parts).
