7. Test from the Internet

Type the IP Address to access your E-1063 into the “VNC Server” box.

If your E-1063 is directly connected to the Internet, type the IP address for the
E-1063.

If your E-1063 is connected to a router (as recommended), type the IP
address for the router, followed by: 5900 (for the port number assigned to the
E-1063).

Note: 5900 is the default port number; if you’ve assigned a different port number
because you have multiple E-1063s connected to the network (e.g. 5901, 5902),
use that instead.

Note: To discover the external IP address for the router, open the router’s
administrative interface.
Click “Connect”.

You’ll be asked to enter a password. Enter the password you set in the
“Remote Access” menu on the E-1063.
