Installation

Tunnel Placement

When placing a piece of equipment, tunnel depth will vary from site to site. Be sure to allow an adequate
operating envelope

1) Locate the two stand assemblies (legs) and determine which is the driver side and the
passenger side. The longer beam of each base plate should point toward the tunnel exit, as
the shorter beam is to point toward the conveyor.
There are four traditional installation configurations for the WAVE WRAP™.
• Standard, stand alone
• Staggered with a set of Wave Low Side Washers™
• Staggered with a set of Wave Full Side Washers™
®
• Staggered with a set of Wave 2 x 2’s
The four traditional configurations are shown in figures 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d.

2) Using a forklift, position the WAVE WRAP™ stand assembles (legs) into their appropriate
tunnel location (FIG 1a, FIG 1b, FIG 1c or FIG 1d).
CAUTION

Be sure to clamp equipment securely to the forks of the fork lift.
Do not stand under load while fork lift is in operation.

3) While placing a level on the vertical surface of one of the legs, place shims under the base
plate as needed to make the stand assembly level in both directions. Repeat this leveling
process on the other leg assembly.
Note: Shims not supplied by Belanger, Inc.

4) Once both stand assembles are positioned correctly and level, lag them to the floor using
the supplied lag bolts. Snug bolts up but DO NOT TIGHTEN THEM UNTIL STATED.
