Introduction

Overview

Congratulations on your purchase of the Belanger, Inc. Hydro Hybrid™. This system is a highly
flexible and innovative product that could only be produced by Belanger, Inc. It only requires 72”
of tunnel space to operate.
Note: There are parts of this document labeled “Overview”. These sections show the items
covered as fully assembled. The “Overview” sections will always be followed by more
detailed installation instructions.
The Hydro Hybrid ™ requires at least one Pumping Station to operate and some configurations
require two Pumping Stations. Pumping Stations are NOT covered in this document. For
installation information on the Pumping Stations, refer to the “Jet Pumping Station” component
manual, part #1MANUL361.
Due to your particular purchase, some areas in this document may not apply to your system, if
that is the case; move on to the next applicable section.

The replacement cloth strips (Fins) are available in the standard colors: Blue and Red.
The plastic pieces that hold the mitter cloth (“Mitter Waves”) come in Blue and Red.
The “Waves and/or Fins” can be purchased in complete sets or individually.

Whether you have already operated a car wash or you are new to our industry, you know the
importance of the appearance of a car wash and its equipment to the customer. Keeping the
equipment clean will not only make the equipment easier to maintain, it will act as an example to
your customer to keep their equipment (their vehicle) clean as well. Replacing the cloth in your
tunnel as necessary, will also help the image of your wash and keep the customer coming back.
Read through the entire manual to familiarize yourself with the Hydro Mitter™ before installation.
When installation is completed, you will want to keep this manual as a guide to proper
maintenance.

Pumping Station

In order for the Hydro Hybrid to function, it will require a Pumping Station capable of 32GPM @
1000PSI each. If you have not purchased a Pumping Station, contact your local VAR or call
Belanger, Inc. Aftermarket Sales.
