Chapter 14 Foaming Sealer Wax and Foam-X Options

General Overview
The Saber® machine comes standard with the solution delivery module fully loaded with chemical pumps to feed the
machine with two presoaks, a drying agent, a sealer wax, and three triple foam chemical pumps. There are two optional
foaming configurations available for purchase if desired.
First, a foaming sealer wax option allows sealer wax to be supplied to the machine with air. This chemical runs to the
machine using the sealer wax chemical pump on the solution delivery module, and an additional foaming valve/regulator
is mounted on the pneumatic panel.
Second, a Foam-X option is available for purchase; the difference here is instead of using the sealer wax chemical pump
an additional pump is supplied to mount on the wall in the back room. Typically the foam-x chemical is a higher quality
higher cost chemical and should be supplied separately from the sealer wax. In addition to the separate chemical pump
an additional foaming valve/regulator is mounted on the pneumatic panel and an additional water valve.
If you have either of these options, an addional Air Regulator / High-Flow Valve Assembly will be mounted onto the Air
Panel as shown below.

The base unit ships with 2 wax pumps and water solenoids. They are typically labeled “Drying Agent” and “Sealer Wax”
They do not foam.
The solenoid valves connect to the check valves on the high-pressure side of the Wall Manifold.
If you are going to run 3 waxes in addition to a drying agent, a sealer wax and a foaming “Foam-X wax, an additional
water valve and pump are supplied along with the foaming regulator and low-pressure check valves for the Wall Manifold
If you are only going to run 2 waxes and want one of them to be a foaming wax, you wil need to purchase the Foaming
Sealer Wax Option. This option uses the standard pump and solenoid. It also comes with the pneumatic valve/regulator
and low-pressure check valves.
