JET PUMPING STATION
Maintenance
Routine Procedures
Daily
• Check the oil level and the condition of the oil.
• Check hoses for punctures .
• Check general operating condition. Pump should run smooth with no adverse noises coming from it. If
pump runs rough or makes strange noises, or if there is a drop in pressure, refer to Wanner Trouble
Shooting Section.
• Check operation of float valve.
• Start every wash day with a “Test Wash” to insure proper operation of all equipment.
• Check overall performance for any abnormalities on the first few vehicles washed each day.
• Check for water and chemical leaks after equipment is turned off.
Weekly
• Check belt tension. If belts are worn or have a tendency to slip, replace belts (Part No. 1BELT500,
Generic #B52).
• Check all mixing tanks for sludge buildup or any other contaminants on the bottom. If too much sediment
is evident, drain tank and clean.
• Weekly cleanings of the frame should also be done. Use a good degrimer such as Tide laundry detergent
with hot water.
Note: OVER TIGHTENING BELTS VOIDS WARRANTY!
• Check condition of vibration isolators. If they are worn or sagging, replace them (Part No. 1MOUNT-
PS500).
Note: All four isolators must be replaced at the same time .
• Drain and wipe down interior of tank. This will prevent buildup of contaminants.
