WINDDOOR
Installation
Assembly
1) Remove all shipping materials from the Wind Door (e.g. steel bands and wire ties).
2) Locate head frame assembly; determine the entrance side from the exit side (cylinders should face
inside of tunnel so that doors open to the inside of tunnel unless wind door is mounted on the
outside of the building whereas the doors will open toward the outside of building).
3) Locate accessory box, and the two support legs.
4) Using a fork lift and clamps, raise the head frame assembly above the height of the legs.
CAUTION
Be sure to clamp equipment to the forks of the fork lift. Do not stand under load
while fork lift is in operation!
5) Position the head frame assembly and legs in their approximate location in the tunnel.
6) Using the 1/2-13 x 1-1/4” bolts and the 1/2-13 regular nuts provided, bolt the legs to the main head
assembly making sure that the Velcro faces the cylinder side.

7) Position and lower the completed assembly into its exact location (to the top of the entrance or exit
door opening and center it to the center line of the door opening, or to the center line of the
equipment).
