MIXSTIR® CHEMICAL DELIVERY SYSTEM
Operation
Chemical Dilution Ratio
The following experimental procedures may be used as the basis to figure how much chemical is
being applied to each vehicle.
Note: As long as your supply water pressure is above 25 PSI your results will be consistent
The following items are required to perform the procedure.
Small Measuring Beaker Large Measuring Container
Protective Gloves Safety Glasses
1) Close the water feed ball valve to an initially closed position.
2) Fill the smaller Measuring Beaker with the chemical in question. Make a note of how much
is initially in the beaker.
3) Run chemical draw tube to the smaller measuring beaker.
4) SLOWLY open the water feed ball valve to draw the measured chemical up the tube. When
the chemical is just about to reach the Hydro-minder close the water ball valve.
5) Position the large Measuring Container to receive the HydroMinder’s output feed.
6) Paying close attention to the chemical line, open the water feed ball valve to activate the
HydroMinder.
7) Stop the HydroMinder when either all the chemical has been drawn, or your large Measuring
Container is at its maximum.
8) If there is any unused chemical, drain it back into the small measuring beaker and note how
much chemical is left.
This should be enough information to determine the mixing ratio you are achieving.
Use the following formula for the ratio calculation.
Output Feed – Chemical Used / Chemical Used: 1
