Fire Protection $ 722,446
Fire sprinkler systems require upgrades to conform to current codes.
Roofing $ 10,000,000
Cherry Creek evaluates all facility roofs on a yearly basis and repairs them when
possible. Roofs are expected to last approximately 15 years, depending on weather
and deterioration caused by ultraviolet rays. Many of CCSD’s roofs are 25+ years old.
Playgrounds $ 1,100,000
Upgrades are needed to conform to current codes and safety requirements. This
includes equipment and/or ground surface replacement at specific school sites.
Tennis Courts and Tracks $ 2,600,000
Middle school and high school tracks and/or tennis courts require resurfacing and
upgrades due to use and age. This is needed to provide safe surfaces for student
and community use.
Specialty Architecture $ 4,858,556
Paint, caulking, ceilings, lockers, wall vinyl, movable wall replacement, and
maintenance, minor construction/renovations/upgrades to schools and CCSD
buildings are included here.
Utility Infrastructure $ 6,250,000
This includes domestic water lines, electrical lines, fire lines, gas lines, sanitary and
storm sewers. These are typically the pipes you cannot see, but when they break
