Fritscher with Mark Hemry creating magazines without borders of gay and straight.
Beginning in 1970s Drummer, as chronicled in the bodybuilding novel Some Dance
to Remember, the Male Body itself emerged — with all its “secondary male sex char-
acteristics” in bloom — as both source and fetish of the homomasculine way of being
and becoming.
