ENHANCED DETAILING – WALLS

Task – Wall Sweep og Wall Reveal

Purpose: to understand how the Wall Sweeps and Reveals are modeled and placed:

1. For the wall end use the funktion Wall Sweep

Go to the 3D view in Project Browser and click Wall Sweep tool

Architecture ► Build ►Wall ► Wall: Sweep

2. You need to create a new type in the
project.

As a starting point use the existing type
”Wall Sweep – Cornice”, click Edit
Type, make a Duplicate and name it
”Wall Cap”

The new type must have a different
profile that is changed in:

Construction ► Profile

Choose ”NTI_Wall_Cap_420” on the list

3. In Context Ribbon choose Horizontal and now, there can be
placed wall finishes by clicking on the top of the walls.

Please note to select same side on all the walls, since Revit
otherwise will not be able to correctly cut at the corners
