OPENINGS

          Openings

Openings are used to cut openings in, among other things. walls, floors, ceilings or roofs.
In a floor, ceiling or roof, cut openings either vertical or perpendicular to the surface. And there
can be outlined complex shapes using drawing tools

By face create a perpendicular opening at the
selected surface on a roof, floor or a ceiling.
Shaft creates an invisible solid, which creates an
opening through all the layers of the framework.
Wall creates a rectangular opening in the wall.

Vertical creates a vertical opening in the selected
surface on a roof, floor or a ceiling.
Dormer cuts hole in roof for the creation of an
          dormer.

          Shaft Opening

          Shafts are created as following:
          Architecture ► Opening ► Shaft

By using this feature, same holes cut automatically through the whole building, and if the
opening move on one floor, shaft is moved this on all floors.
Stair shaft boundary line can be selected via the Pick
line, Pick Walls or by drawing the boundary after you
          transformed its geometry.
The function ends with Finish Edit.

In Shaft Opening Properties can the vertical extent of
the shaft be defined, but it may be easier to pull the
          Grips in a 3D View.
