          Task – Sections

Purpose: To understand how cuts are created and geometry adapted

          1. Navigate to ”(02) 1. Sal” in Project Browser and create a cross
section through the model between modules 6 and 7 via

                View ► Section

Select Building Section in Properties Palette and create section by
                clicking in the drawing area

          2. Go to the created section either by selecting the cutline and right-
clicking ► Go to View or choose the view in Project Browser

                   • Rename the section”Snit A”
                   • Set the level of detail to”Medium” in View Control Bar
                   • Set Visual Style to Shaded in View Control Bar
                   • Hide Levels lines

          3. If the walls are not assembled correctly vertically relative to deck and
roof, these can be customized by selecting the wall and in Context
Tab select Attach Top / Base. In the Options Bar select whether
the top or the bottom of the wall should be adjusted.

          4. Adjust the walls, as light-concrete interior walls facing down on the
concrete slab, instead of at the wood and tiled floors, and modify
also the top of the wall so that it follows the lower edge of the
                concrete floor / roof
