VIEW RANGE
View Range
Any Plan View has a property called View Range.
View Range can be accessed in View properties under the Extents ► View Range ► Edit….
View Range consists of a set of horizontal planes that control the visibility and display objects in
the current View. These horizontal plans are:
Properties
Top: Specifies the upper limit in the primary range. The upper limit is defined as a
Level and a shift in relation to this. Elements are displayed as specified in the
Object Styles with "Line Style Projection". Elements over the specified offset
value are not displayed.
Cut Plane: Specifies the height, in which elements of the Plan View cut. Elements above
or below (depending on which direction we are browsing) are displayed in the
projection, and elements that are affected with Cut Plane, are displayed with
the "Cut Line Style".
Bottom: Specifies the bottom limit in the primary definition. Elements are displayed as
specified in the Object Styles with "Line Style Projection".
View Depth: Specifies an extension to the primary definition, and it must not be less than
either the Top or Bottom (depending on the direction that points the way
in). Elements that appear on the background of the View of Depth, can be
objects on adjacent floors and elements, which are only visible through a hole
in a slab, etc., All items are displayed with line type "Beyond", which is
somewhat thinner than the Projection.
If an object's Line Style is overridden, in Projection this appears also in the
area View Depth.
