View Range




                  Task – Foundations

                  Purpose: to understand how the foundation-walls are created, modeled and placed:


                  1.    Navigate to (01) Stue in Project Browser








                  2.    The ground plan is set to show a horizontal cut 1200 mm above the floor level.

                        To be able to model the Foundation should the horizontal cut plan be moved down below
                        the floor level, which is done by adjusting the View Range.


                        First create a copy of the Ground plan:
                           •  Select ”(01) Stue” in Project Browser
                           •  Right click and select Duplicate.
                           •  Name it ”Fundament – (01) Stue”

                  3.    Switch to the new created View ”Fundament – (01)
                        Stue”
                        Under Properties for Floor Plan choose View Range
                        ► Edit…


                        In the dialog box adjust Cut Plane, Bottom and Level
                        as following, and finish with OK.
