                      1993

1994 FCI Racing World Championship, Helsinki, Finland, June 19

At this championship there were only 80 dogs registered. It was held on 1 day. There
         were no Sloughis present.

1994 FCI Racing European Championship, Lostallo, Switzerland, September 10-11,
         mixed race males/females
About 320 sighthounds from 11 countries and 10 different breeds were present, of which
10 Sloughis. The event was very well organized, the vet control was strict. There was also

doping control of several at random chosen males. There was one positive case, which
was severely punished: dog and owner were banned from all future training and races.
Every dog ran twice; the best result was taken to compose the final runs of the breed. In
the final run one of the Sloughis was irritated by the waving of a flag and stopped his
         race.

Siyada Gerza (F) and Bonsha el Tajika
        (D). Results are not known.
