        About the author



         Jean Brixhe is an Egyptologist with a Master Degree in History and Oriental Philology
         who has written and published several articles about dogs in Antiquity.  In addition to
         his academic interests, he is also a breeder of Champion Borzois, and has been a judge of
         the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) for Group 10 (all Sighthounds) since

         1979. Jean Brixhe loves Sloughis, had judged them numerous times, including at the
         German Sloughi Specialty and the FCI World show in Leipzig (2017). Finally, Jean Brixhe
         is General Secretary to the FCI Eurosighthound and is President of the Belgian Royal
         Sighthound Club.
